1. Where are you
located?
For surf lessons, meet at 3740 Mission Boulevard in Mission Beach.
2. Where do I meet
for the surf camp?
Students will meet in our store located at 3740 Mission Boulevard (the
cross street is Pismo Court)
each day to check in. Then they will walk with instructors to the surf
camp that is set up on the
beach in front of Pismo Court. The surf camp is 50 yards from our surf
shop.
2A. Where do I
meet for surf camp in Ormond Beach, FL?
Students should meet in our surf shop located at 52 W. Bovard Avenue in
Ormond Beach, on the
first day of camp. From the shop they will walk to the beach where the
surf camp is set-up in front
of Granada/SR40 beach approach. Parents should pick up and drop off
students on the beach
each day after the first day. 3. What should
my child bring to camp?
Bring a lunch, long sleeve sweat or jacket, towel, sunscreen, shoes, backpack
or bag, and drink.
4. What should
I bring to a surf lesson?
Bring sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, and water.
5. How early should
I arrive?
Be in the area 30 minutes before class to insure a parking spot, put on
your wetsuit and sign your waiver.
6. Where do I park?
Drive up and down Santa Clara and Mission. If you don't find a spot then
Park in $5.00 parking two blocks north of Santa Clara on Mission.
7. How good of
a swimmer do I have to be?
If you can swim with your head above water you will be all right. Weak
swimmers will be kept in shallow water next to an instructor at all times.
8. Are there restrooms
near by?
Both San Diego and Ormond Beach Surfari locations are equipped with
public restrooms.
9. Are there stores
and restaurants in the area?
There are many restaurants and stores in the area. Boardwalk Café, Guava
Beach and Voltaire's are right off Santa Clara
